Recording & Mix Engineering​

I have worked as an engineer on a number of recorded audio projects, often as the sole engineer. As such I have experience with all aspects of recording and mix engineering, particularly those listed below.

Recording Engineering:
-Microphone selection & placement
-Signal routing through snakes, patch bays, audio interfaces, and DANTE networks
-Operation of audio interfaces, outboard gear, control/recording consoles, and digital audio workstations (DAWs)

Mix Engineering:
-Creation of clear, polished mixes using DAWs, third party plugins, and outboard gear which are tailored to best serve the intent of the project.

Live Audio Engineering

​In addition to recorded projects, I also have experience with audio engineering for live performances and events. Experience includes:
-Setup and teardown of PA, microphones, and instruments in a variety of settings
-Mixing for front-of-house, live streams, and recordings of live performances
-Recording of live performances into DAWs via DANTE for later mixdown
-Live monitoring and mixing for both musical performances and corporate presentations
-Familiar with standard live mix consoles including Yamaha CL and Behringer X32 series as well as BSS networked audio systems and Crown amplifiers with HiQnet Audio Architect software
