My musical studies began with the piano at the age of 8. After several years of traditional piano instruction I transitioned to rock and pop music, supplemented with jazz, and quickly began performing in bands. I have focused intensely on the use of electronic keyboards, ensuring I always have the equipment to cover the needs of the music being played. I have made a point of mastering all keyboard instruments, having studied the differences between pianos, electric pianos, organs, clavinets, mellotrons, and synthesizers. Getting the right sound can be the difference between good and great, and each sound demands a different style of performance. To date I have over 13 years of live performance experience and over a decade of recorded performance experience, enhanced by my work as a music producer and recording engineer.
