As a music producer, I am responsible for overseeing the creation of a recorded music project from preparation through mastering. My primary objective is too see that all levels of a production serve the vision of the artist at the highest level of quality possible. My focus is always fixed on what the music is trying to express, and all decisions stem from that. Here are some examples of the duties I may perform as a producer:

• Guidance in optimizing songwriting (see Songwriting/Composition for more information)
• Improvement and/or creation of arrangements (see Arranging/Orchestration for more information)
• Full organization and management of production schedule
• Booking studio time
• Hiring session musicians (if needed)
• Providing creative direction in the studio to get the best recordings possible
• Editing of recorded material to ensure the best takes are used and are brought to the highest possible level of quality prior to mixing
• Oversight of mix and mastering processes to ensure finished product matches the artist's creative vision

In addition to these roles, I may perform the following non-production duties on a project I am producing:
